The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Marina Sereni, started an institutional visit to Cuba and Costa Rica on Sunday, 16 January, which will end on Friday, 21 January.<\/p>\n
The visit started in Havana where, today, Deputy Minister Sereni will chair the sixth Session of the Political Dialogue together with the\u00a0First Deputy Minister, Gerardo Pe\u00f1alver Portal. Among other commitments, the agenda of the mission includes a working breakfast with a delegation of Italian entrepreneurs who are in the country, and meetings with Government Authorities, starting from the\u00a0Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Planning, Alejandro Gil Fern\u00e1ndez, and Deputy Minister of Justice, Rosabel Gam\u00f3n Verde.<\/p>\n
After visiting some ongoing Italian Cooperation projects in the historic centre of the Cuban capital city, today Deputy Minister Sereni will sign a Memorandum on Development Cooperation for a three-year contribution of EUR\u00a012\u00a0million.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, besides the visit, Deputy Minister Sereni had a meeting with the Deputy Director for the Americas in the\u00a0European External Action Service (EEAS), Javier Ni\u00f1o P\u00e9rez.<\/p>\n
On 19 January, Deputy Minister Sereni will go to\u00a0San Jos\u00e9 where, on 21 January, she will chair the first Session of the Political Dialogue together with Deputy Minister\u00a0Adriana Bola\u00f1os Argueta.
