Organised in association with<em> La Biennale di Venezia<\/em> and the Italian Embassy in Moscow, with the support of Banco Intesa, the festival will take place in parallel at the <em>\u201cPobeda\u201d<\/em> cinema of Novosibirsk from 21 to 27 February.\u00a0 Opening the festival will be the film <em>\u201cQui rido io\u201d<\/em> (the king of laughter) directed by Mario Martone, a lively biography of Neapolitan comedian Eduardo Scarpetta that examines the nature of creativity and family life, with Tony Servillo playing the part of Scarpetta. It will be followed by <em>\u201cAriaferma\u201d<\/em> (the inner cage) directed by Leonardo di Costanzo, <em>\u201cIl bambino nascosto\u201d <\/em>directed by Roberto And\u00f2, Giuseppe Tornatore\u2019s film on Ennio Morricone, Giorgio Verdelli\u2019s film on the musician Ezio Bosso, <em>\u201cFreaks Out\u201d<\/em> directed by Gabriele Mainetti, <em>\u201cAmerica Latina\u201d <\/em>directed by Damiano and Fabio D\u2019Innocenzo and <em>\u201cIl paradiso del pavone\u201d <\/em>(the peacock\u2019s paradise) directed by Laura Bispuri.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Italian Cultural Institute in Moscow will host the thirteenth edition of the \u201cDa Venezia a Mosca\u201d (from Venice to Moscow) festival.\u00a0 From 18 to 23 February, the most successful Italian films shown last autumn at the 78th Venice International Film Festival will feature at the \u201cOktjabr\u201d multiplex.
