The competition to design a new logo for the Italian Cultural Institutes (Italian initials IIC) opens today. The initiative, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has been entrusted to Zooppa.it, the crowdsourcing platform. It is open to innovative ideas from students, young creatives, agencies and anyone wishing to try their hand at creating and sharing new designs. <\/P>

The new logo should immediately evoke the role of the IICs \u2013 the dissemination of the Italian language and the promotion of Italy\u2019s cultural and identity worldwide \u2013 as an integral part of the Foreign Ministry\u2019s network abroad. <\/P>

To take part in this initiative, you will need to register with zooppa.it and upload your proposal to the dedicated webpage http:\/\/www.zooppa.com\/it-it\/contests\/istituti-italiani-cultura\/brief<\/A>.
The deadline for uploading submissions is 15.00 [Italian time] on 4 February 2014. <\/P>

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will select the best proposal from those uploaded by that date, with a prize of 10,000 euros going to the designer of the selected logo. <\/P>
