The flight is also carrying humanitarian supplies provided by INTERSOS, an Italian non-governmental organisation (NGO). <\/P><br \/>\n<P>The goods will be unloaded and prepared for distribution under the supervision of officials from our Embassy in Manila and by the MFA and INTERSOS personnel travelling w<A name=_GoBack><\/A>ith the consignment. <\/P><br \/>\n<P>Italian Development Cooperation will be organising new humanitarian initiativesin coming weeks, including additional flights, in close liaison with the United Nations and the European Union. <\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A new Italian Development Cooperation flight \u2013 the third since the onset of the emergency in the Philippines caused by Typhoon Haiyan \u2013 left the United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot (UNHRD) in Brindisi today, headed for Cebu.
