Minister Bonino is a member of the Committee of Honour. The Farnesina\u2019s involvement was confirmed today, when the event was presented to the Foreign Press Association in Rome. <\/P><br \/>\n<P>The Foreign Ministry\u2019s convinced support for the 2013 Winter Universiade is further evidence of its close interest in major sports events. Such events act as a vehicle for peace and mutual tolerance and are a valuable opportunity for friendship between students of different countries. <\/P><br \/>\n<P>The Universiade is also an important opportunity to enhance Italy\u2019s image and its ability to organise major events.
