The meeting took place at the Farnesina today, just a few hours after agreement was reached in New York on the text of the resolution on dismantling Syria&#8217;s chemical weapons stockpile. <\/P><br \/>\n<P>Topics for discussion included the preparations for the meeting of OPAC&#8217;s executive committee, which has been called to adopt a decision on the special procedures required to ensure that Syria&#8217;s chemical arsenal is destroyed in a rapid timescale. Deputy Minister Dass\u00f9 expressed her appreciated of the unprecedented task facing OPAC following the Kerry-Lavrov agreement of 14 September 2013.
