Tuesday 15 March 2022<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span>at the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Italian Embassy to the Holy See (Palazzo Borromeo), at the presence of the President of the Republic,\u00a0<\/span>Sergio Mattarella<\/span><\/strong>, the President of the Council of Ministers,\u00a0<\/span>Mario Draghi<\/span><\/strong>, and the\u00a0<\/span>highest institutional offices of the Italian Republic and of the Holy See<\/span><\/strong>, the 93rd anniversary of the Lateran Treaty will be celebrated, as well as the\u00a0<\/span>38th anniversary of the Agreement for the amendment of the Concordat<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bilateral government meetings will begin at\u00a0<\/span>4:15 pm<\/span><\/p>\n

In consideration of the current regulation on social distancing and of the limited capacity of the hall where the meeting shall take place, photographers and TV cameramen will not be allowed to access Palazzo Borromeo.<\/p>\n

Live images and footage will be<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0broadcast via a\u00a0<\/span>\u201chost-broadcasting<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0<\/span>service set up by RAI and press agency ANSA.<\/span><\/p>\n

Still in consideration of the current regulation on social distancing, a limited number of press representatives shall be granted access to Palazzo Borromeo, and they will attend the\u00a0<\/span>arrival of the Delegations at the Embassy courtyard<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One reporter, one photographer and\/or one cameraman per newspaper or press agency may be accredited.<\/span><\/p>\n

Press staff interested in attending the event may\u00a0<\/span>apply for accreditation<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>by Sunday 13 March<\/span><\/strong>, sending an email to:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/span><\/a>, attaching thereto the required documentation (letter of their news media organisation containing their personal data and position, the relevant email, and, for members of the foreign press, also a Note Verbale issued by the Rome Embassy of the news media organisation\u2019s Country).<\/span><\/p>\n

Only the first\u00a0<\/span>accreditations, received in chronological order, will be accepted and granted access to Palazzo Borromeo.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Those who do not receive confirmation of participation will not be admitted to the Italian Embassy to the Holy See.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In order to gain access to the Conference, it will be mandatory to:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Have and show the Super Green Pass;<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Wear an FFP2 face mask.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The accredited press staff that received the confirmation via email<\/u><\/span>\u00a0are<\/span>\u00a0kindly asked to show up at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0<\/span>rear entrance<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>V<\/span>ia Macchia della Farnesina<\/span>,\u00a0from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm<\/span><\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span>for the due security checks and body temperature detection, wearing an FFP2 face mask (maximum punctuality is recommended<\/u><\/span>).<\/span><\/p>\n

    A shuttle service from the Farnesina to Palazzo Borromeo (and return trip) will be offered.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Access to Palazzo Borromeo will be denied to reporters, photographers and cameramen who have been accredited but come to the event with their own means, without undergoing security checks at the Farnesina and who therefore have not used the available shuttle service.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Participants are kindly asked to dress appropriately<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    It will be possible to\u00a0<\/span>report live<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0via\u00a0<\/span>satellite link only outside the Palace<\/u><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(no cables may be laid down indoors), following the communication,\u00a0<\/span>to be submitted by Sunday 13 March<\/span><\/strong>, of the number plates of the vehicles to be used and of the names of the relevant technical staff, in order to authorise their operations outside Palazzo Borromeo\u00a0<\/span>(<\/span>accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n
