{"id":75022,"date":"2022-03-21T11:54:17","date_gmt":"2022-03-21T10:54:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2022\/03\/ambasciata-algeri-presenta-libro-enrico-mattei-e-lalgeria\/"},"modified":"2022-03-21T14:12:37","modified_gmt":"2022-03-21T13:12:37","slug":"ambasciata-algeri-presenta-libro-enrico-mattei-e-lalgeria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/retediplomatica\/2022\/03\/ambasciata-algeri-presenta-libro-enrico-mattei-e-lalgeria\/","title":{"rendered":"The Italian Embassy in Algiers presents the book &#8220;Enrico Mattei and Algeria&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Italian Embassy in Algiers presents a new book entitled \u201cEnrico Mattei e l\u2019Algeria.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un amico indimenticabile (1962-2022)\u201d, (\u201cEnrico Mattei and Algeria:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An Unforgettable Friend (1962-2022)\u201d, with an introduction by Ambassador Giovanni<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Pugliese.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event takes place only a few days before the opening of the 25<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0edition of the Algiers International Book Fair, at which Italy will be guest of honor.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The publication, also thanks to the support of Eni\u2019s Historic Archive, is part of the initiatives aimed at commemorating the 60<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary of Algeria\u2019s independence and the establishment of diplomatic relations with Italy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The book, published in three languages (Italian, French and Arabic) and printed in Algeria for the Italian Embassy by the Barzakh Publishing House, is dedicated to the figure of Enrico Mattei and to the inauguration of the gardens in Algiers named after him during President Sergio Mattarella\u2019s State visit to Algeria last November. The publication traces the deep-set historic and friendship ties between Mattei, Algeria and Italy.
