The event was presented at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Cartagena de Indias, Colombia\u2019s most important film festival. The four films presented \u2013\u00a0<i>Accattone<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Il Decameron<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Comizi d&#8217;amore\u00a0<\/i>and\u00a0<i>Porcile\u00a0<\/i>\u2013 were introduced by Professor Alessandra Merlo of the University of the Andes in Bogot\u00e1. Professor Merlo also curated the Spanish translation of the script of\u00a0<i>Comizi d&#8217;amore<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the Pasolini films, another two Italian films were presented to the Colombian public for the first time during the Festival:\u00a0<i>Piccolo Corpo\u00a0<\/i>by Laura Samani e\u00a0<i>Il buco\u00a0<\/i>by Michelangelo Frammartino.<\/p>\n<p>The Cartagena retrospective is the first of the initiatives planned by the Italian Cultural Institute in Bogot\u00e1 this year to celebrate the centenary of Pasolini\u2019s birth.
