The webinar is one of the events marking the 6th Italian Design Day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The speaker is the architect and engineer Valentina Sumini, who will be presenting the \u201cFood solution for space\u201d, a food production strategy conceived in collaboration with COESIA S.p.A., a group specialising in packaging, and pasta producers Pastificio RANA S.p.A.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The need to use available space, water and other elements efficiently to produce food could encourage the implementation of technologies with a lower impact on the resources needed for food production on Earth too, especially in regions where such resources are scarce.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Consulate General of Italy in Vancouver, along with the local branch of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, has organised a webinar entitled \u201cFood security on Earth: lessons from food production systems in space\u201d.
