The images are from the 1980s series \u201c<em>La donna \u00e8 la macchina\u201d<\/em>, dedicated to women\u2019s work in Italian factories such as Olivetti, Indesit, Solex or Fiat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the early days of her career the artist has documented social transformations, political events and key personalities of her times. She is also responsible for recording the Italian feminist movement in photographic form, a story told through marches and demonstrations, banners, and meetings at the \u201cCasa delle Donne\u201d in Via del Governo Vecchio.
