The Foreign Affairs-Defence Negotiating Table is a standing consultative committee between the two Ministries which convenes regularly at political and technical level with the aim of assuring a constant alignment between the two Administrations on the principal issues of common interest, especially in foreign policy and international security, including Italy\u2019s participation in international missions.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Today\u2019s meeting focused on the latest developments in the Russian Federation\u2019s aggression against Ukraine and examined the different aspects connected to Italy\u2019s assistance to Ukraine and its contribution to the position of allied deterrence, also in view of the NATO summit that is scheduled to be held in Madrid at the end of June.
