The students from the Italian School of Montevideo have won the contest.<\/p>\n
The XXII Week of the Italian Language in the World (SLIM) now has a subtitle: \u201cCome scusa? Non ti followo\u201d<\/strong> (\u201cExcuse me? I don\u2019t follow\u201d). Indeed, the contest \u201cInvent the title of SLIM 2022\u201d – through which the Farnesina involved Italian state and private schools<\/strong> abroad in the drafting of a proposal that could interpret, in an innovative way, the topic chosen for this edition: “Youths and the Italian language\u201d<\/strong> – has come to an end.<\/p>\n Students from over thirty classes<\/strong> from twenty schools<\/strong> took part in the initiative, with 80 titles<\/strong> submitted, eight<\/strong> of which were pooled for the final table of the Jury in charge of the selection, which met on 30 May and was formed by Farnesina staff and traditional partners for language promotion abroad<\/strong> (Accademia della Crusca, Centro per il Libro e la Lettura, Consiglio Generale degli Italiani all’Estero, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education, Ministry of University and Research, RAI Offerta Estero, Societ\u00e0 Dante Alighieri, Treccani). The winners were the boys and girls of class 2-L<\/strong> of the Italian School of Montevideo<\/strong>, coordinated by their teacher Anna Monini.<\/p>\n Their proposal, \u201cCome scusa? Non ti followo\u201d, convinced the jury because of its ability to ironically<\/strong> combine how the constant renewal<\/strong> of youth languages placed stimulates the Italian language, with the idea of the communication breakdown<\/strong> experienced by the very generation of \u201cdigital natives\u201d, to whom this edition of SLIM is expressly dedicated.<\/p>\n The other seven finalist titles<\/strong> are also worth mentioning:<\/p>\n SCIALLA E PARLA ITALIANO!<\/strong><\/p>\n Lyc\u00e9e Scientifique Leonardo da Vinci, Paris.<\/p>\n II Liceo EsaBac sec.
