In such case, the FPSO would be used to exploit the \u201cGato do Mato\u201d oil and gas field, found at a depth of approximately 2,000 metres in the \u201cSantos Basin\u201d; located approximately 300 km off the coast of the city of Santos (state of S\u00e3o Paulo), the Basin covers an area of over 350,000 km2 and is currently the country&#8217;s main source of oil and gas.
