At the same time, it is significant that Italy\u2019s election coincides with the UPU\u2019s approval of a resolution inviting Member Countries to reduce their fees for the electronic transfer of worker remittances in pursuit of the UN, G8 and G20 objectives. \u201cJust a few days ago\u201d, the minister pointed out, \u201cwhile speaking at the UN General Assembly, President Monti renewed Italy\u2019s commitment to reducing the global cost of remittances\u201d.
