Focusing on tangible examples drawn from our Country\u2019s cities and regions and from the experience of the most innovative businessmen and women in the agrifood supply chain, the event will explore the European, Mediterranean and global scope of Italy\u2019s food diplomacy as it is currently implemented in association with important international partners, including the FAO, in concrete initiatives to support the Countries that are most affected by the food crisis currently underway and whose interests our Country will champion in different international fora that are scheduled following the Farnesina-hosted Mediterranean Ministerial Dialogue on the Food Security Crisis on 8 June: the 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0World Conference on the Mediterranean Diet from 28 to 30 September 2022, and the 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0edition of the Mediterranean Ministerial Dialogue to take place next 1 December.<\/p>\n<p>The event \u2013 which will take place in a<em>\u00a0<\/em>talk show<em>\u00a0<\/em>format moderated\u00a0by journalist\u00a0<strong>Angela Rafanelli<\/strong>, the presenter of RAI\u2019s television program \u201cLinea Verde\u201d \u2013 will open with remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u00a0<strong>Luigi Di Maio<\/strong>\u00a0and the Mayor of Caserta and President of ANCI Campania,\u00a0<strong>Carlo Marino.<\/strong>\u00a0The talk show will follow with a rich program of speakers including the Mayor of Milan,\u00a0<strong>Beppe Sala (<\/strong>in video conference<strong>)<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Valentina Stinga, Maria Pina Fontana and Rosanna Marziale<\/strong>, innovative business women of the agrifood supply chain of the Campania Region, the President of Coldiretti,\u00a0<strong>Ettore Prandini<\/strong>, the Director of the Centro di Ricerca Politiche e Bioeconomia-CREA,\u00a0<strong>Alessandra Pesce<\/strong>, the President of Confagricoltura,\u00a0<strong>Massimiliano Giansanti,<\/strong>\u00a0and the Vice President of the European Parliament,\u00a0<strong>Pina Picierno.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event will close with remarks by the Director General of\u00a0<strong>FAO<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Qu Dongyu,\u00a0<\/strong>the Minister for the South and Territorial Cohesion,\u00a0<strong>Mara Carfagna\u00a0<\/strong>(in TBC video conferencing)\u00a0and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u00a0<strong>Luigi Di Maio.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>It will be possible to follow the event in live streaming on the\u00a0\u00a0YT channel Farnesina.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and TV crews wishing to cover the event\u00a0<u>in person<\/u>\u00a0are required to apply for accreditation\u00a0<strong>by and no later than 1:00 PM on 14 July,<\/strong>\u00a0to be sent via mail to the address:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\"><strong>accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Tel.\u00a0+39 06\/3691.8573\/3432\/3078), attaching thereto a copy of their ID cards,\u00a0\u00a0a letter of his\/her media organization and, for members of the foreign press, also a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organization\u2019s Country.<\/p>\n<p>Accredited media representatives will be able to access the Cappella Palatina from the main entrance to the Reggia di Caserta\u00a0<strong>from 9:00 AM and by no later than 9:45 AM wearing an FFP2 mask<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On Friday, 15 July, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM,\u00a0the Cappella Palatina of the Reggia di Caserta, will host the event titled \u201cMediterranean Diet Instrument of Diplomacy\u201d.
