The twenty digital illustrations created between 2020 and 2022 by the Bologna-born illustrator, who graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and has a degree in psychology, add to the recent section \u2013 dedicated to graphics, illustration and street art \u2013 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u2019s contemporary art collection.<\/p>\n<p>As the artist claims, these drawings represent human feelings and emotions, gestures and everyday situations \u201cthrough metaphors and visual similarities\u201d, thus depicting a lyrical tale of a reality that envelops us \u201cwith a familiar symbolism in which everyone can recognise themselves\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her collaborations with national and international magazines and publishing houses, Giulia Neri is the creator of the \u201cRipido Illustration Festival\u201d, a new exhibition dedicated to Italian drawings and illustrations, held in Brunico.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Farnesina Collection welcomes the works of Giulia Neri (Bologna, 1979).
