{"id":87684,"date":"2022-10-06T10:11:19","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T08:11:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2022\/10\/festival-di-haifa-dieci-film-italiani-in-programma\/"},"modified":"2022-10-06T11:16:49","modified_gmt":"2022-10-06T09:16:49","slug":"festival-di-haifa-dieci-film-italiani-in-programma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/retediplomatica\/2022\/10\/festival-di-haifa-dieci-film-italiani-in-programma\/","title":{"rendered":"The Haifa \u200bFilm Festival to screen ten Italian films"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In coordination with the Italian Cultural Institute in Haifa and Cinecitt\u00e0, ten Italian films will be screened at the Haifa International Film Festival, one of the Country\u2019s most important events for movie lovers and experts running from 8 to 17 October.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the event, which is set against the magnificent backdrop of Mount Carmel, Italy presents some of its most recent and best reviewed blockbuster films: \u201cLe otto montagne\u201d (\u201cThe Eight Mountains\u201d, 2022) by Felix van Groeningen e Charlotte Vandermeersch, based on the namesake novel by Italian writer Paolo Cognetti; \u201cNostalgia\u201d (2022) by Mario Martone, selected to represent Italy at the 95<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0edition of the Academy Awards in the International Feature Film Award category; \u201cLeonora Addio\u201d (2022) by Paolo Taviani, winner of the FIPRESCI Prize at the Berlin Film Festival 2022 and running in the Carmel International Competition section at the Haifa Film Festival; \u201cDelta\u201d (2022) by Michele Vannucci, in competition for the Golden Anchor Competition section at the Haifa Film Festival; \u201cPrincess\u201d (2022) by Roberto De Paolis, which opened the Orizzonti section at the Venice Film Festival 2022.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The screening will include the following documentaries: \u201cSergio Leone, l\u2019italiano che invent\u00f2 l\u2019America\u201d (2022), by Francesco Zippel; \u201cMarcia su Roma\u201d (\u201cThe March on Rome\u201d, 2022) by Mark Cousins and \u201cThe matchmaker\u201d (2022) by Benedetta Argentieri.
