The exhibition was opened by the\u00a0<\/span><strong>Italian Ambassador, Andrea Silvestri,\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at the attendance of the\u00a0<\/span><strong>President of Macedonia<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,\u00a0<\/span><strong>Stevo Pendarovski\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to mark the\u00a0<\/span><strong>18<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0edition of Contemporary Art Day<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The exhibition displays works issuing from the art project by\u00a0<strong>Antonio Massaruto<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Roberto Gezzi<\/strong>\u00a0and represents the peak of their research project carried out in the month of April 2022 on the slopes of the recently opened \u0160ar Planina National Park and closely followed also by local students at the Art and Design Department of\u00a0<strong>Tetova University.\u00a0<\/strong>The aim of the project was to raise the public\u2019s awareness of the importance of North Macedonia\u2019s natural heritage and highlight the artistic value of its biodiversity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The works will be on display until 26 October, after which some will be donated to the Museum (which already boasts a significant donation of Italian contemporary artworks) and others to the institutions involved in the project. Some of the installations will also be left where they were created (the \u0160ar Mountains).
