{"id":894,"date":"2021-05-31T18:15:35","date_gmt":"2021-05-31T16:15:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2021\/05\/nota-farnesina-libia_11-2\/"},"modified":"2021-05-31T18:15:35","modified_gmt":"2021-05-31T16:15:35","slug":"nota-farnesina-libia_11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2021\/05\/nota-farnesina-libia_11\/","title":{"rendered":"Ministry of Foreign Affairs\u2019 note  &#8211; Libya"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today\u00a0the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio,\u00a0has\u00a0held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Najla\u00a0Al Mangush\u00a0.\u00a0The two Ministers\u00a0have\u00a0met on the occasion of the Business Forum &#8216;The new Libya introduces itself to Italian companies&#8217;, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the presence of Libyan Prime Minister Dabaiba,\u00a0who is\u00a0in Rome for his first official visit to Italy since taking office, and numerous Ministers of the two countries and representatives of qualified Italian companies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While\u00a0taking stock of the unique bilateral partnership, Minister Di Maio\u00a0has\u00a0highlighted the opportunities that the progressive political-institutional and security strengthening in the country offers for Italian companies wishing to play a leading role in the reconstruction of Libya.The Minister of Foreign Affairs\u00a0has\u00a0also reiterated Italy&#8217;s commitment to the lasting stabilisation of the country, emphasising the importance of\u00a0preparing\u00a0the elections scheduled for 24 December 2021 and the related need for a timely definition of the constitutional basis and adoption of the electoral law.
