For the occasion, the\u00a0<strong>Italian Embassy in Quito<\/strong>\u00a0aims to involve young people as active protagonists in the\u00a0<strong>evolution of language in the digital age<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Week started with a\u00a0<strong>concert<\/strong>\u00a0dedicated to Italian opera at the\u00a0<strong>Centro Cultural de la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica<\/strong>. It continues on 27\u00a0October with\u00a0a\u00a0<strong>spelling and hyphenation competition<\/strong>\u00a0in the\u00a0<strong>House of Ecuadorian Culture\u00a0<\/strong>in Quito, open to all universities in the country where the Italian language is taught, also to make people think about the importance of respecting the integrity of the language when using new communication technologies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On 29 October, in the capital city there will also be\u00a0<strong>theatre and music performances<\/strong>\u00a0with primary and secondary school students at the\u00a0 Alessandro Volta High School. On 28 October in Quito and 1 November in Guayaquil,\u00a0the theatre performance to pay tribute to\u00a0<strong>Pasolini<\/strong>, \u201c<strong>Orestiade con cuore di donna\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>[The Oresteia\u00a0with a woman&#8217;s heart], written by\u00a0<strong>Giuseppina Norcia<\/strong>\u00a0and staged by\u00a0<strong>Gianluca Barbadori<\/strong>, will be on stage.
