{"id":90720,"date":"2022-11-07T12:18:05","date_gmt":"2022-11-07T11:18:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2022\/11\/reminder-nota-di-accreditamento-stampa-conferenza-stampa-da-praga-al-mondo-100-anni-di-diplomazia-culturale-farnesina-9-novembre-2022-ore-1100\/"},"modified":"2022-11-08T09:23:54","modified_gmt":"2022-11-08T08:23:54","slug":"reminder-nota-di-accreditamento-stampa-conferenza-stampa-da-praga-al-mondo-100-anni-di-diplomazia-culturale-farnesina-9-novembre-2022-ore-1100","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/notestampa\/2022\/11\/reminder-nota-di-accreditamento-stampa-conferenza-stampa-da-praga-al-mondo-100-anni-di-diplomazia-culturale-farnesina-9-novembre-2022-ore-1100\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder Press Accreditation Note &#8211; Press Conference: From Prague to the world: 100 hundred years of cultural diplomacy  &#8211; Farnesina 9 November 2022, 11:00 AM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>The Farnesina presents its cultural agenda celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague<\/i><br \/>\nFarnesina &#8211; 9 November 2022, 11:00 AM<\/p>\n<p><b>On Wednesday, 9 November2022, at 11.00 A.M.<\/b>, the Farnesina\u2019s Aldo Moro Hall will host the event \u201c<b>100 years of cultural diplomacy<\/b>\u201d to present the initiatives organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague, the first in the world, and illustrate the agenda of the events promoted by the network of the Italian Cultural Institutes in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The introductory remarks will be delivered by Ambassador\u00a0<b>Pasquale Terracciano<\/b>,\u00a0Director General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Farnesina,\u00a0and the event will be attended by\u00a0<b>Massimo Osanna<\/b>,\u00a0Director General of Museums of the Italian Ministry of Culture &#8211; MIC, <b>Brunella Fusco<\/b>,\u00a0of the Campania Teatro Festival, Director<b> Claudio Longhi<\/b> and actor <b>Toni Servillo<\/b> for the Piccolo Teatro di Milano, and finally\u00a0<b>Emmanuela Spedaliere<\/b>,\u00a0Director General of the Teatro di San Carlo.<\/p>\n<p>It is a cultural diplomacy that has deep roots and has evolved with the times, most recently with the establishment in January last of the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Farnesina to optimize and better organize the activities promoting the Italian language, and Italy&#8217;s way of life and culture in all its expressions, thanks to a network of 84 Italian Cultural Institutes operating in five continents, soon to be joined by six new Institutes opening in Almaty, Amman, Bangkok, Hanoi, Miami and Sarajevo.<\/p>\n<p>All throughout 2023 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will be promoting an agenda featuring major cultural initiatives and events organized for the entire network of Italian Cultural Institutes abroad to mark the Centennial and in partnership with prestigious Italian cultural institutions including, inter alia, the Ministry of Culture; Fondazione Cinema per Roma; Accademia Chigiana; Piccolo Teatro di Milano; Teatro di San Carlo di Napoli; Romaeuropa Festival; Societ\u00e0 dei Concerti di Milano; A.N.I.C.A; Fondazione Torinomusei; ItaliaFestival and many other.<\/p>\n<p>To inaugurate the centennial celebrations, the Farnesina has developed a rich program of events in Prague:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>16-17 November:\u00a0\u201c<b>Perch\u00e9 non io? \/ Why Not Me?<\/b>\u201d, a theatre play directed by Jana\u00a0Svobodov\u00e1 and co-produced by\u00a0Fondazione Campania dei Festival, Teatro Archa (Prague) and Napoli Est Teatro.- 1- 1-2 December:\u00a0\u201c<b>Le voci di Dante<\/b>\u201d, a theatre play produced by the\u00a0Piccolo Teatro di Milano featuring\u00a0Toni Servillo, who will also\u00a0participate with one of his films at the opening of the MittelCinemaFest;<\/li>\n<li>1- 8 December:\u00a0concert by the <b>San Carlo Theatre Orchestra<\/b> conducted by Maurizio Agostini at the Rudolfinum Auditorium in Prague;<\/li>\n<li>Inauguration of the exhibition entitled the &#8220;<b>Presepe del Re<\/b>,&#8221; a spectacular Neapolitan nativity scene featuring 18th- and 19th-century shepherds figurines collected in 1911 by ethnologist Lamberto Loria on the occasion of the Italian Ethnography Exhibition held in Rome to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy. The &#8220;Presepe del Re&#8221; exhibition, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, will be hosted in the Chapel of the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event in person\u00a0may apply for accreditation by no later\u00a0than<b> 4:00 PM on Tuesday 8 November <\/b>\u00a0via e-mail to the following address:\u00a0<u>accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\u00a0<\/u>\u00a0(Tel. +39 06\/3691-3432 or 8573), attaching thereto:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>copy of an identity document;<\/li>\n<li>letter from the employer media organisation or, in lack thereof, a professional press card;<\/li>\n<li>Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organization\u2019s Country (for representatives of foreign media).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Accredited media representatives will be able to access the\u00a0Farnesina\u00a0from the <b>main entrance, left-hand side \u00a0on 9 November, from\u00a010:15 to 10:45 AM<\/b>.
