{"id":90817,"date":"2022-11-07T10:15:42","date_gmt":"2022-11-07T09:15:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2022\/11\/la-mostra-magister-raffaello-fa-tappa-a-madrid\/"},"modified":"2022-11-08T14:41:18","modified_gmt":"2022-11-08T13:41:18","slug":"la-mostra-magister-raffaello-fa-tappa-a-madrid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/retediplomatica\/2022\/11\/la-mostra-magister-raffaello-fa-tappa-a-madrid\/","title":{"rendered":"The \u201cMagister Raffaello\u201d exhibition opens in Madrid\u200b"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the eleventh stop of its long journey around the world, the &#8220;Magister Raffaello&#8221; exhibition opens in the splendid halls of the Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid, where it will run until 15 January, 2023.<\/p>\n<div>The exhibition, organised to celebrate the\u00a0500th anniversary of Raphael&#8217;s death, is curated by art historian Claudio Strinati with co-curator Federico Strinati and the support of a Scientific Committee of international standing made up of some of the most distinguished scholars in the field of Raphael studies. &#8220;Magister Raphael&#8221; is conceived as an unprecedented experiential novel organized around six key works by the great Renaissance master.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>Inside the six thematic areas, visitors will be able to walk through the life\u00a0and places where Raphael lived and worked and learn about &#8220;his world&#8221; through his masterpieces as well as works by\u00a0 rtists, scholars, and philosophers who interacted with his work over time: actors and extras who people an ideal stage transfigured into the exhibition.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The contents of the exhibition are available in three languages (Italian, Spanish and English) and are organized into two separate paths: one for adults and one for children. The exhibition can also be toured through an audioguide or through a special app that can be downloaded free of charge on the visitors&#8217; smartphones.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The contents for children consist also of original texts and illustrations by Eva Montanari, an author and illustrator who has been publishing children&#8217;s books since 2000 all over the world. The music accompanying the narrative is by\u00a0Antonio Fresa,\u00a0a musician and composer who is also the author of award-winning film soundtracks.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Designed by Magister Art, &#8220;Magister Raffaello&#8221; is an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, organised in Madrid by the Italian Cultural Institute in partnership with ENIT- &#8211; National Tourism Board, under the aegis of the Italian Embassy in Madrid.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On the eleventh stop of its long journey around the world, the &#8220;Magister Raffaello&#8221; exhibition opens in the splendid halls of the Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid, where it will run until 15 January, 2023.
