Collezione Farnesina\u201d<\/strong> (\u201c<strong>The Great Italian Vision. Farnesina Collection\u201d<\/strong>), which will launch the travelling exhibition organised by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation \u2013 Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy and under the general curatorship of Achille Bonito Oliva, will take place at the Farnesina, Sala Aldo Moro, on <strong>Thursday 26 January at 4 p.m<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The event, which will be hosted by Undersecretary of State <strong>Maria Tripodi<\/strong> and opened by the Director General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy, Ambassador <strong>Pasquale Terracciano<\/strong>, will be attended by the curator of the exhibition <strong>Achille Bonito Oliva<\/strong>, Ambassador <strong>Umberto Vattani<\/strong>, creator of the Collection and <strong>Angela Tecce<\/strong>, President of the Donnaregina Foundation for Contemporary Arts \u2013 Madre Museum.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Great Italian Vision. Farnesina Collection\u201d is a unique journey through the history of Italian art from the 20th century to the present day, featuring seventy-two works selected by Achille Bonito Oliva by over sixty great artists chosen to represent Italian art, from <strong>Boccioni<\/strong> to <strong>Carla Accardi<\/strong>, from <strong>Mimmo Jodice<\/strong> to <strong>Michelangelo Pistoletto<\/strong>, from <strong>Mario Merz<\/strong> to <strong>Grazia Varisco<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition introduces the general international public to works selected from the <strong>Farnesina Collection<\/strong>, which is held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and has distinguished itself over the years as a dynamic collection designed to showcase the best of contemporary Italian identity through museum-level artistic itineraries.<\/p>\n<p>A bilingual catalogue has been produced together with Silvana Editoriale on the occasion of the exhibition. It includes institutional and critical texts with contributions by Achille Bonito Oliva, Cristiana Collu, Valentino Catrical\u00e0, Paola Marino, Luca Massimo Barbero, Angela Tecce and an interview by Paola Damiani with Ambassador Umberto Vattani, which retraces all the milestones of the Farnesina Collection.<\/p>\n<p>The event intends to present Italian artistic identity to the international public at large, as witnessed through works selected from the Farnesina Collection according to a thematic rather than chronological itinerary.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative, promoted and realised by the <strong>Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation<\/strong>, is under the general curatorship of <strong>Achille Bonito Oliva<\/strong>, with curatorial development by <strong>Paola Marino<\/strong> and organisational coordination by <strong>Simona Rossi<\/strong>. The project for the exhibition is by <strong>Anna Fresa<\/strong> while the organisation, logistics and production are by <strong>Dafna ets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These are the stages: <strong>Singapore \u2013 February 2023, Tokyo \u2013 March 2023, New Delhi \u2013 May 2023 and finally Seoul \u2013 July 2023<\/strong>. The exhibition will be held in a double venue, both institutional and public, opening a dialogue between Italian Embassies\/Cultural Institutes and important museums.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>There will be no live coverage of the event on the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs&#8217; social media channels<\/u><\/strong><strong>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the Press Conference may apply for accreditation by sending their request <strong>by Thursday 26 January 2023 at 12 a.m.<\/strong> to the following e-mail address <a href=\"mailto:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\">accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a> (Tel. 06 3691 3432 \u2013 8573 or 3078), attaching the following:<\/p>\n<p>For representatives of the Italian press:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>copy of an identity document;<\/li>\n<li>letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or &#8211; in the absence of the latter &#8211; copy of professional identity card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For representatives of foreign press organisations, <u>not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/u>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>copy of an identity document;<\/li>\n<li>letter from the newspaper of affiliation;<\/li>\n<li>Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.<\/p>\n<p>Accredited journalists, photographers and cameramen may enter the Farnesina from the <strong>main entrance, left side, on 26 January 2023 from 3:15 to 3:45 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The use of FFP2 masks is encouraged.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Submitting the above-mentioned personal data means authorising the use thereof in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016\/679) by the <strong>Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation<\/strong>, the data controller, for strictly professional purposes and\/or purposes related to the performance of the event in question.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"UPDATE PRESS ACCREDITATION NOTE Press Conference \u201cLa Grande Visione Italiana.
