The meeting will be attended, on the Italian side, by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, <strong>Antonio Tajani<\/strong>, and the Minister of Defence, <strong>Guido Crosetto<\/strong>, and, on the British side, by the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom, <strong>James Cleverly<\/strong>, and the Secretary of State for Defence, <strong>Ben Wallace<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A joint press conference is scheduled at Villa Madama at the end of the meeting, at approximately 2 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the joint press conference may apply for accreditation by sending their request <strong>by Wednesday 8 February 2023 at 5 p.m. <\/strong>to the following e-mail address <a href=\"mailto:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\">accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a> (Tel. 06 3691 3432 &#8211; 8573 o 3078), attaching the following:<\/p>\n<p>For representatives of the Italian press:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>copy of an identity document;<\/li>\n<li>letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or &#8211; in the absence of the latter &#8211; copy of professional identity card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For representatives of foreign press organisations, not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>copy of an identity document;<\/li>\n<li>letter from the newspaper of affiliation;<\/li>\n<li>Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented (if not previously sent to this Accreditation Office).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Foreign press representatives already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs should send a request for accreditation with a copy of an identity document attached.<\/p>\n<p>Accreditation cards must be collected in person from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, <strong>main entrance, left side, from 12:45 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Since it is not possible to reach Villa Madama by personal transport, once accredited, journalists will be driven to Villa Madama by a shuttle service from Piazzale della Farnesina (round trip), which will run until the end of the event.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The use of FFP2 masks is encouraged.<\/p>\n<p><em>Submitting the above-mentioned personal data means authorising the use thereof in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 and the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016\/679) by the <strong>Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation<\/strong>, the data controller, for strictly professional purposes and\/or purposes related to the performance of the event in question.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Press Accreditation Note Foreign Affairs \u2013 Defence Roundtable (Villa Madama 9 February 2023) &nbsp; On Thursday 9 February 2023, a meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence of the Italian Republic and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (2+2) will take place in Rome.
