{"id":9767,"date":"2019-02-05T12:18:42","date_gmt":"2019-02-05T11:18:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2019\/02\/g7-e-g20-youth-summit-young-ambassadors-society-sta-reclutando-4-delegati-per-il-y7-francia-2019-e-i-2-delegati-per-il-y20-giappone-2019-2\/"},"modified":"2019-02-05T12:18:42","modified_gmt":"2019-02-05T11:18:42","slug":"g7-e-g20-youth-summit-young-ambassadors-society-sta-reclutando-4-delegati-per-il-y7-francia019-e-i-delegati-per-il-y20-giappone019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/approfondimenti\/2019\/02\/g7-e-g20-youth-summit-young-ambassadors-society-sta-reclutando-4-delegati-per-il-y7-francia019-e-i-delegati-per-il-y20-giappone019\/","title":{"rendered":"G7 and G20 Youth Summit: Young Ambassadors Society is recruiting 4 delegates for Y7 France 2019 and 2 delegates for Y20 Japan 2019."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with the Italian government and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Young Ambassadors Society (YAS) is now recruiting respectively the four and the two delegates that will represent Italy at the Summit of the Youth 7 (Y7) and at the Summit of the Youth 20 (Y20), the official engagement groups of the G7 and G20 dedicated to young people.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the Y7 Summit will take place in Paris from 10<sup>th<\/sup> to 15<sup>th<\/sup> June.<\/p>\n<p>The main theme of the Paris Y7 will be: Inequalities.<\/p>\n<p>The delegates will be called to address the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Economic inequalities<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Environmental inequalities<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Technological inequalities<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Inequalities between women and men<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The outcome of the discussions among delegates will be collected in a communiqu\u00e9, which will be presented to G7 leaders.<\/p>\n<p>Profile of the delegates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Aged between 18 and 30;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Deep knowledge of, at least, one of the above-mentioned four topics;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fluency in English;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Understanding of global problems with a multicultural perspective;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strong academic background and commitments in concrete projects\/volunteer experiences;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Delegates are expected to be proactive, engaged, and enthusiastic, individually as well as in the group. They are expected to spend time preparing the Summits (e.g. by researching topics, attending online pre-meetings and negotiations, writing policy papers, and such alike) and after the Summit (to work on possible follow-up actions).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Board and accommodation in Paris will be provided. However, each delegate should cover the expenses for the round trip to Paris.<\/p>\n<p>Shortlisted candidates may be contacted for an online\/telephone interview.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The deadline for submitting the application is 3<sup>rd<\/sup> March\u00a02019.
