The Italian Embassy in Buenos Aires, together with the Italian Cultural Institute of Buenos Aires and Teatro Col\u00f3n, is proposing ‘Divina Italia’ (Divine Italy), a full program of events planned from 7 March throughout 2023, including opera and theatre productions, as well as performances of Italian artists ranging from opera to ballet, from music to dance.<\/p>\n
The audience will thus be able to explore the great legacy and creativity of Italian musical art in the programming of the prestigious Argentinean theatre, following a journey that will include famous composers – such as Donizetti, Verdi, Rossini and Puccini – together with new classics, the most current composition trends and some of the greatest conductors and choreographers of present times.<\/p>\n
Divina Italia, presented on 2 March in the splendid setting of the Alvear Palace, in the presence of Ambassador Fabrizio Lucentini and the Director General of Teatro Col\u00f3n, Jorge Telerman, is a tangible example of the close and high-level cooperation in the cultural sphere between Italy and Argentina, a historic bond that is constantly being renewed with an eye to the future.<\/p>\n
