Italy is taking part in the Leipzig Book Fair scheduled from 28 to 30 April 2023 with a stand and an auteur programme. Italy’s presence has been arranged by the Italian Cultural Institute of Berlin, in collaboration with the CICI – Interdisciplinary Centre for Italian Culture; its aim is to draw attention to the diversity of Italy’s literary and cultural scene as well as to the importance of books as an object of cultural exchange.<\/p>\n
Italy’s presence at the Fair will also be an opportunity to discover and get to know new Italian publications in the German language, which cover various genres – from literature to non-fiction to children’s books – as well as to meet Italian writers. Indeed, during the Fair, a series of Italian books will be presented and discussed with their respective authors. These include \u201cVeronica und der Teufel. La vera storia di un esorcismo\u201d by Fernanda Alfieri; \u201cLe perfezioni\u201d by Vincenzo Latronico; \u201cCarapax\u201d by Lisa Ginzburg; \u201cCosa pu\u00f2 fare l’Europa – la visione di Erasmo da Rotterdam (1538-1600)\u201d by Lucia Felici.<\/p>\n
