Objective: activating tools and initiatives to encourage the use of digital commerce in the development of companies' export processes. To this end, the economic promotion activities, for which digital channels will be increasingly used, will also be rethought.
Initiatives currently being finalised:
1) Creation – by ICE Agency – of a multi-function digital platform through which individual companies or associations and production chains will be able to identify potential commercial counterparts, to organise matchmaking, to carry out B2B and to present virtual pitches.
It is in practice a tool that will make up for the lack of entrepreneurial missions by guaranteeing networking and business opportunities in general.
A possible use of the platform, at demo level, is expected from September 2020.
2) Activation of digital intermediation services: to increase the presence of Italian companies in international marketplaces and increase their visibility. Some initiatives are already active, others will be added in the coming months.
