Attracting talent from abroad is an important tool to boost the competitiveness of Italian productivity and bolster its internationalisation. 'Invest Your Talent in Italy' is now operating and was developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) and the Uni-Italia Association, with support from Unioncamere and Confindustria and in collaboration with institutions, universities and enterprises.
The goal of the programme is to prepare the way to increase knowledge between Italy and countries of special interest for Italian enterprises by involving young foreign professionals, who can act as cultural and business intermediaries.
The programme's target
The programme targets foreign students from focus countries. They will be offered an academic programme in one of the participating universities,and an internship with an Italian company.
The promoters and the participating companies will award scholarships for students to attend master's and single-cycle degree programmes in Engineering – Advanced Technology, Economics-Management and Design -Architecture. All of the programmes will be delivered in English.

Companies interested in the programme can join by offering internships and/or grants to complement university degree programme/programmes that match their business profile and that are best fit for the markets which are part of their internationalisation plan.
