Education – 138 primary and secondary school teachers from Nablus Province have taken part in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) training courses to develop new teaching methods and facilitate learning for pupils. The initiative, promoted by Italian cooperation, is part of the Support for the Palestinian Education Program (SPEP), value about 7 million euros, implemented through UNDP/PAPP with the collaboration of the Palestinian Ministry of Education.

The course was promoted by the Italian Cooperation Office in Jerusalem as part of the “Tamkeen: Fighting poverty by empowering and supporting Palestinian women” project, to which the Italian government has contributed 540,000 euros.

Culture – the city of Jericho hosted a seminar on “Conservation and Enhancement of the Cultural Heritage. A journey from the Palestinian Territories to Jordan”.
