Italy’s role in NATO is the subject of an exhibition at the Vittoriano Complex in Rome. The exhibition was opened on 16 November by the Chairman of the Italian Atlantic Committee, Enrico La Loggia, and Defence Chief of Staff Vincenzo Camporini.
The exhibition, in over 30 panels, covers key stages in NATO’s history with old photos, excerpts from historic documents, images and audiovisuals. It includes the armed forces’ contribution to peace and stabilisation missions in the Balkans and in Afghanistan.
The MFA helped produced a video for the event, by providing audiovisual material illustrating Italy’s role in the Alliance.
