Madrid - Association of Italian Researchers in Spain set up

The Association of Italian Researchers in Spain (ARIS) has been set up in Madrid with the aim of promoting communication between the Italian and Spanish academic and scientific communities. The association was an initiative of Teodosio Libondi, science attaché at the Italian Embassy in Madrid until June 2014. It won strong support from the Italian Ambassador in Spain, Pietro Sebastiani, and the director general of the Foundacio'n Espanola para la Ciencia y la Tecnologi'a (Fecyt), Jose' Ignacio Fernandez Vera.
