AIdAM - The Italian Association of Mechatronic Automation participated in the Kybernetická revoluce forum in Brno, an international event attended by Czech and Italian companies involved in mechatronics and industry 4.0. The initiative, which took place on 26 April last, was part of the agreement signed between AIdAM and the Italo-Czech Chamber of Commerce (Camic) on 23 September 2016, with a view to strengthening industrial cooperation between Italy and the Czech Republic in the fields of mechatronics and automation (sectors that account for around 50% of trade between the two countries), key elements for the transformation of production processes known as Industry 4.0.
Michele Viscardi, AIdAM director, delivered a presentation during the opening event, which was received with particular interest. In Brno, AIdAM met with its counterpart, the "Czech Innovative Companies Association" and held discussions on technological systems and elements of Industry 4.0 for business practice. “The worlds of real and digital production come together in a virtuous union. It's the start of a joint Italo-Czech process”, declared the Italian Ambassador Aldo Amati, who was also present in Brno.
