The first ‘Campus Italy’ event to promote the Italian University system in Tunisia will be held on 10 November at the Cité des Sciences in Tunis. The event will be organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Tunis, the Italian Embassy in Tunis and the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Over 20 Italian Universities will attend, introducing their academic courses to Tunisian students who are interested in undertaking university studies in Italy. Tunisian students will be able to visit the University stands and learn more about how the Italian academic system works, scholarship opportunities and cooperation agreements and partnerships. They can also enquire about Italian language courses, pre-enrolment procedures and study visas. The event will be open to the public. At 12:00 p.m. at the Cité des Sciences amphitheatre, there will be a screening of the film 'La Restituzione dell'Antico attraverso la Realtà Virtuale: strumenti di visualizzazione 3D per stimolare conoscenza e sensibilizzazione al nostro patrimonio archeologico' (‘Going back in time using virtual reality: 3D instruments to raise awareness of our archaeological heritage’) by Alessandro Furlan. There will also be a meeting between delegates from the Italian Universities and officials from the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research before the event. Additionally, there will be a visit to the main Tunis Universities to strengthen cooperation and relations between the Universities of the two countries.
