BELERUS – 3rd Italy-Belarus Green Economy Forum
Minsk, 8 October 2019
The Italian Embassy in Minsk, in association with the Italian Trade Agency ICE, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Belarus and Confindustria Belarus will hold the 3rd Italy-Belarus Green Economy Forum next 8 October at the“Footbalny Manezh” (Prospekt Pobeditelei 20/2) Conference Centre.
The first National Green Economy Development Plan was approved in 2016, setting forth important goals aimed at diversifying energy sources by 2020. The Plan provides for tax relief for renewables, the development of new integrated waste management systems and the construction of pyrolysis plants, subsidising sustainable constructions, and greater attention for energy efficiency, the agri-food industry (livestock breeding and biomass) and smart cities.
In order to maximise the business opportunities for participating companies, this year the Forum will be organised at “Energy Expo” (Minsk, 8-11 October), Belarus’s largest expo dedicated to energy and the environment, with the attendance of 300 exhibitors from 24 Countries and an estimated 12,000 visitors (https://www.energyexpo.by/). At the Expo, the Italian Embassy, in partnership with ICE and Confindustria Belarus, will organise the first exhibition space in which the companies participating in the Forum will be able to set up their own stand.
Italian businesses and agencies interested in participating in the Forum are kindly requested to manifest their interest by writing to both addresses of Confindustria Belarus in Minsk: email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org.
