Italian Economic Diplomacy 16 November: latest news from around the world

A series of webinars on the mechanical engineering industry in Chile, Argentina, Myanmar and the Russian Federation are about to kick off.

A cycle of webinars organized by ICE, ANIMA Confindustria Meccanica Varia, in collaboration with the Italian Embassies, will shortly take place to explore the opportunities for collaboration in various Mechanical Engineering Industry sectorson several markets. The first webinar is scheduled to be held on18 November with Chile and will be dedicated to the subject of Energy efficiency for heating and air conditioning.

The following webinars, scheduled between now and December (25 November: Argentina; 30 November: Myanmar; 16 December: Russia) will illustrate the results of several Sectoral Studies carried out by ANIMA on the growth prospects in these markets for Italian businesses. The underlying idea of the project is to develop a process for approaching and increasing knowledge of these markets through digital means, not just because of the current situation but also due to their distance and complexity, which require a vertical approach in order to identify and exploit the potential opportunities from a business perspective.

The webinar dedicated to Chile will focus, in particular, on the local competitive environment and the related regulatory framework, highlighting any critical issues, economic and financial facilitations and/or obstacles to the penetration of Italian technology, as well as mapping the opportunities offered by the overhaul of industry and government development programmes.
