"Fortunato Depero and the futurist reconstruction of the universe" is the title of the conference to be held at the Italian Institute of Culture (IIC) in Sao Paulo. The event is complementary to the exhibition "Depero, futurist and global artist", now on show at the MAC USP Ibirapuera until March 27. The aim of the initiative is to further explore different aspects of the life and world of this fascinating Italian artist. The conference panel speakers will include Professor Ana Goncalves Magalhaes, art historian at the USP and curator of the Museu de Arte Contemporanea da Universidade de Sao Paulo (MAC-USP), and Professor Vanessa Bortulucce, art historian at UNICAMP and researcher. The conference agenda also includes the screening of the documentary "Depero, Rovereto New York e altre storie" by Nello Correale.
