The Farnesina will host the Conference on “The collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Carabinieri Corps to enhance citizens' security and promote Italian concerns abroad” at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, 30 May.
The Conference seeks to enhance the collaboration between MAECI and the Arma dei Carabinieri (Carabinieri Corps) through several interventions. On the one hand, focus will be on the evolution of the Carabinieri's activity abroad during United Nations, European Union and NATO initiatives and, on the other hand, the security of MAECI and the Italian diplomatic missions abroad.

It is a pattern that our international partners have already commended. It is our intention to fine-tune it further in order to always be ready to meet the most urgent international challenges," said the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, who will address the opening session, together with the Minister of Defense, Roberta Pinotti.
