"Diplomazia e dintorni" - What diplomats have to write

Writing is an activity that accompanies diplomats throughout their career. Reports, notes, speeches are only a few examples of the writing that every diplomat has to necessarily do in any office that he/she might be posted to. Writing is a relevant albeit little-known aspect of the everyday work of diplomats. The 56th episode of “Diplomazia e dintorni” (“Diplomacy and the Like”), which will be aired by Radio LUISS at 8 p.m. on April 5, will offer the opportunity to get a closer look at what diplomats write and for what reasons.

Together with Emanuele di Lorenzo and Hanna Pappalardo, two diplomats serving at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the debate will focus on some of the aspects relative to the style and characteristics of modern-day diplomatic documents.
