Danieli wins 300 million dollar commission for steel plant in China
The Chinese subsidiary of the Danieli company has won a 300 million dollar commission in China to provide a steel plant to the local Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel company. The Friuli-based Italian company will provide its Chinese client with a technologically advanced facility boasting innovative characteristics using the patented "Danieli Universal Endless (DUE)" method. The plant will be able to produce over 2.1 million tonnes of high-quality steel strips a year. Danieli China has been present in the Chinese steel market since 1979. The Italian company's subsidiary employs over 2,000 people and has completed over 700 projects in China and other countries in the area to date.
