Original comics by Gabriella Giandelli and Anke Feuchtenberger will be on display at the 2016 Helsinki Comics Festival, which opens tomorrow at the Espoo Cultural Centre in the Finnish capital. The exhibition of works by the two world-renowned pioneers of the comics world was organised by the festival in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Helsinki. Gabriella Giandelli is an Italian illustrator and one of the most important and influential comics artists in Europe whose captivating visual style can plunge readers into a supernatural vortex. Anke Feuchtenberger is one of Germany's most famous artists, who combines sensitivity and ferocity in a unique way. The exhibition runs until 18 September.
