Georgia, MoMA of Tbilisi hosts

Tbilisi pays tribute to Italian fashion by hosting the retrospective exhibition, "60 years of Made-in-Italy", at the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) from 15 November 2016 to 10 January 2017. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Minister of Culture of Georgia, Mikheil Giorgadze, in the presence of Deputy Mayor Nina Khatiskatsi, the Italian Ambassador, Antonio Bartoli, and of all the diplomatic representatives in the Country. The exhibition showcases stunning high fashion garments, unique creations, prêt-à-porter items: a marvellous gallery of the best products of Italian creativity. The history of the Italian lifestyle, elegance and style, spanning from Emilio Schuberth to the Sorelle Fontana, from Roberto Capucci to Valentino. And then, Sarli, Lancetti, Renato Balestra, Marella Ferrera, Brioni, Giorgio Armani, Laura Biagiotti, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce&Gabbana, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gianfranco Ferré, Gucci, Crizia, Max Mara, Missoni, Moschino, Prada, Trussardi, Versace and many others. The exhibition, conceived by Studio Galgano&Tota, has reached Georgia thanks to the joint effort of the Italian Embassy, the Georgian Ministry of Culture and the Cultural Events Centre of Tbilisi, with the support of the VTB Bank. After Tbilisi, the exhibition will be taken to Baku, in Azerbaijan, and to Astana in Kazakhstan, in an itinerary highlighting the creative and productive heritage that is typical of Italy.
