Our language is an extraordinary instrument for the promotion of Italy abroad. We can use the Italian language to disseminate our culture and bring people closer to our country and way of life. Recent statistics show that over 1.7 million people throughout the world study Italian, making our language the fourth most studied in the world, as a foreign language.

The 45th instalment of “Diplomazia e dintorni” devoted to “The Diplomacy of the Italian Language” will be broadcast on Radio LUISS at 20.00 on Tuesday 27 October 2015.
