The dramatic story of Taranto’s troubled Ilva steelworks will be told in India by Instabili Vaganti, an Italian theatre company that will be performing in Calcutta on Friday 11 September 2015. “Made in Ilva” is based on the true experience of workers from Europe’s biggest steelworks, with testimony from workers interspersed with poetry by Luigi di Ruscio and Peter Shneider. After Calcutta, “Made in Ilva” will travel to Pondicherry, in south-east India. The initiative was organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in New Delhi in collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural relations, Kolkata and Arshinagar Project. Read more, in Italian.
