“Fighting corruption in the Public Administration” is the title of an event taking place today, 9 December 2015, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC). The conference, which coincides with International Anti-Corruption Day, will illustrate the innovations that are changing the life of the Ministry by accentuating its role at the service of both citizens and employees. The focus is on organisational well-being and constant work to reinforce the principle of legality.
The Conference will also include an overview of the Farnesina’s international activity in this sector, with an address by the Directorate General for Global Affairs.
The MFAIC follows Italy’s anti-corruption initiatives directly in multilateral fora and through collaborative projects in a number of countries, especially in the G7/8 and G20 context. In March 2016, our country will chair the OECD’s Anti-Bribery Ministerial Meeting.
Wednesday’s “Fighting Corruption” event will also include an overview of the international work of the Italian Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC). Read more, in Italian.
