Minister Frattini and the Foreign Ministry have welcomed the positive outcome of the case of the "Asso 22", the ship seized in March.
From the outset, Minister Frattini has been following the case closely, both directly and through the Ministry’s Crisis Unit. The Unit has been in constant touch throughout with the family members of the crew and with the company that owns the vessel.
The Minister has thanked the Crisis Unit and all the institutions and structures involved with it in following the case so closely and on a daily basis.
Press confidentiality has once again been seen to be right and useful in ensuring that the effectiveness of the institutional initiatives that led to the successful resolution of the case was not undermined.
