The energy saving initiative "M'illumino di Meno" is back on 6th March and, according to tradition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation participates again this year.
On Friday evening, the external lights of the flags, of the courtyard of honour and of the flagpoles in the car park will be switched off. Moreover, inside the building, in the corridors and common areas, the energy saving mode will be activated in advance.
The initiative is part of the "Farnesina Verde" project which, for some time, has engaged the Ministry and its diplomatic and consular network in promoting reuse of materials, reduction of waste and high environmental standards.
“M'illumino di Meno” was launched in 2005 by Raidue and Caterpillar broadcast to promote energy saving and sustainable lifestyles. This year's edition is also dedicated to increasing trees, plants and greenery.
