The tourism fair that opened in Buenos Aires, the most important trade fair in Latin America, hosts an Italian pavilion dedicated to 'root tourism' which is addressed to the 20 million descendants of Italians living in Argentina. Inaugurated by the Ambassador of Italy in Argentina, Giuseppe Manzo, the pavilion with its 300 square meters of exhibition space "is appropriate for a superpower of culture and tourism" like Italy, Manzo pointed out. The fair was also an opportunity to present the "Guidebook to Italian Roots". The Guidebook is dedicated to the six million Italian citizens living abroad and 80 million descendants of Italians throughout the world. "We present different ways of doing tourism in addition to traditional tourism, artistic tourism, cultural tourism, and now root tourism through this special guidebook that is possible only in Italy and that can be understood only in Argentina, "said Manzo.
