An articulated programme of initiatives of great impact to relaunch Italy in Japan, after Coronavirus emergency, will be illustrated to Italian companies during a webinar on May 11th, organised and promoted by ICE and the Foreign Ministry.
"Japan remains the third largest economy in the world, one of the main markets for Italian exports to Asia and one of the most sensitive markets in the world for Made in Italy and for the quality offer of Italian culture," as stated by Ambassador Giorgio Starace who, together with representatives of ICE, ENIT, Bank of Italy, the Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Defence, has worked on the setting of a calendar of promotional activities to be undertaken now in view of the hoped-for return to normality.
Over 1,500 companies have registered for the webinar and during the meeting the program will be explained: it will be structured in two phases between next June and January 2021.
Crucial will be the support to our tourism industry, which will be given a lot of attention in the coming months in continuity with what has already started in recent months, such as the launch of the innovative promotional campaign manga/anime in collaboration with Kadokawa and the artist Mari Yamazaki, author of Thermae Romae.
The webinar is one of the thirteen meetings planned by Ice, in the framework of the RiparticonIce Campaign, in the priority countries for Italian exports.
